This is the definitive guidebook covering all the rock climbing and bouldering on Staffordshire gritstone in the southwest of the Peak District, near Stone. The classic crags of The Roaches, Hen Cloud and Ramshaw are covered plus Baldstones, Newstones, Windgather, Castle Naze, Bosley Cloud, The Churnet Valley and ERF Rocks.
For each area there is a good location map, and a good description giving a general overview of the crag and type of rock climbing to be found there. In total over 1,600 routes and 800 boulder problems are described. All the routes are described on colour topo photos with English traditional grades used for the rock climbing and V grades for the bouldering.
Published in October 2009, this guidebook is in English text throughout, complete with many excellent action photographs.
