Lillehammer Selected Ice Climbs Guidebook
The Lillehammer Selected Ice Climbs guidebook describes 275 of the best ice climbs around the famous Olympic ski resort of Lillehammer. As well as some world-class skiing, this region is home to a superb collection of easily accessible ice climbs which help to make Lillehammer one of Norway's best winters climbing destinations, and is less than two hours’ drive from Oslo.
The guidebook covers 4 areas: Gudbrandsdalen, Espedalen, Ringebu, and Otta. The ice climbing in these four areas provides a good mix of long multi-pitch classics as well as roadside ice crags and top-roping venues. The routes in this area are ideal for low to mid-grade climbers, with many routes in the WI3 to WI4 grade range.
All the routes are illustrated with colour photo topos along with a description. For each sector there is a description of the type of climbing to be found, along with a location map, approach information, plus QR codes for the parking and approach information.
